Saturday 6/6 - 8 am - 2 pm:  Community-wide Yard Sale - Rain date is Sunday June 7th.  For those that are new to the community, a community-wide yard sale is held the first Saturday of June every year.  Notice will be placed in the local paper as well as on Facebook.  Feel free to participate or not, just be aware that there will be heavy car and foot traffic in the community that day.  You can display whatever you would like to sell, whether it is a few items, or a garage and driveway full of treasures!  We are also planning to have a bake sale again this year so if you are willing to donate a baked item to the bake sale, please let Dianne Clune know. The bake sale will take place at the corner of Oriole and lower Mockingbird.   Proceeds from the bake sale will be put toward future social activities events.

June 24th (Wednesday) 4 pm:  Decorative Garden Brick Workshop - All are invited to an instructor-led brick painting workshop.  Learn to paint beautiful works of art - Let's see how creative everyone is!  A minimum of 5 attendees are required, with a maximum of 15.  The cost will be $15-20, depending on the number of attendees.  For additional details please contact Linda Worchel.  A sign-up sheet will be made available this week.

 

June 27th (Saturday)  3pm:  Ice Cream Social - Enjoy a chance to chat with your neighbors while creating a delicious ice cream treat!  Ice cream and all of the fixings will be available.  A sign up sheet will be available in the community center in the coming week - we'd like to get an estimated headcount so we can plan for enough ice cream and toppings.  If you would like to bring a half gallon of ice cream, or a topping, please indicate that on the sign up sheet.  Thanks!
