Wednesday April 9th:

2 pm:  Cribbage - New players are welcome to join in. 

7 pm:  American Legion - Danielson Post #21 Committee meeting - All Briarwood Falls veterans are welcome to attend.

 

Friday April 11th:

2 pm:  Hand and Foot card game - If you are interested in learning how to play, either respond to this email (Pam will get the message), or contact Dianne Clune.  We'd love to teach two more people how to play so that we can have two groups of four playing.

April 17th  (Thursday) 2 pm:  Book Club - This month's book is "Want To Know A Secret?" by Freida McFadden

 

April 25th (Friday) 6:30 pm:  Trivia Night - A fun night of Trivia led by the same folks who run Trivia Night at Hank's Restaurant in Brooklyn on Wednesday nights. A few of us dropped by Hank's to check it out and it was lots of fun!  As an example, the categories on that night were 1. Neighboring states (geography); 2. Country music artists;  3. Screenshots of child actors - name the show they were in;  4.  Line from a theme song - name the show.  It was pretty funny!  A sign up sheet is available in the community center.  You can sign up as a team (max of 6), or just add your name and we will coordinate teams on Trivia Night.  There is also a separate sign up sheet to bring an item for the charcuterie board (optional) that will be available to snack on (i.e. pickles, salami, cheese, crackers, etc).  Bottled water will be provided but feel free to bring a beverage of choice.  Hope to see you there!

June 7th (Saturday) 8 am - 2 pm: Community-Wide Yard Sale - Back by popular demand! Our annual community yard sale is scheduled for the first Saturday in June, with a rain date of Sunday 6/8.  More details to follow.

 

June 28th (Saturday) 3 pm - Ice Cream Social - Yum!!!
