Tuesday November 4th:

6 pm:  Shuffleboard 

 

Wednesday November 5th:

6:30 pm:  American Legion Post #21 Executive Committee Meeting

 

Friday November 7th:

2 pm:  Hand & Foot Card game

 

Food Drive for Friends of Assisi Food Pantry:

We will be collecting food and personal hygiene product donations for the local food pantry in Danielson. Please drop off your donations at the community center any time until 11/13 (there will be a designated table starting this week).  Donations will be delivered to the pantry on Friday November 14th so please make sure that all donations are brought to the center by the 13th.

Oatmeal packets

Canned fruit

Canned vegetables

Soup

Side dish packets (ie: pasta roni)

Chef boy R dee

Condiments

100% juice

Snacks

And pet food - people struggle to feed their pets.

SAVE THE DATE:

 

November 10th (Monday) - 6 pm:  Social Activities Committee Meeting - We will be discussing upcoming events and we always welcome new ideas!

 

November 11th (Tuesday) - 9 am:  Veterans Day Celebration - We will salute our veterans as we have done in past years with a short ceremony at the flagpole led by the American Legion Post 21 Color Guard.  Please see a letter attached to this email from Greg Dexter regarding details.  

 

December 7th (Sunday) - 5 pm:  Holiday Party - Ring in the holidays with your neighbors!  This get-together will be appetizers, with a few games/contests sprinkled in.  We are also looking into having a silent auction for crafts. Details will be provided after the November social activities committee meeting.

 

February 7th (Saturday) - time TBD:  Chili Cook-off!!!  $5 admission (funds raised will go toward future events). You can make your favorite chili (optional), taste them all, and vote for your favorite - just in time for the Super Bowl!
