2:30 pm:  Christmas Decorating - It is time to decorate the Community Center for the Christmas holiday as we have done in past years.  We would appreciate some volunteers to lend a hand to decorate the center for the holidays.  

 

Every Tuesday December 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th:

6 pm:  Shuffleboard

 

Every Friday December 5th, 12th, 19th:

2 pm:  Hand & Foot Card game (no cards after the 19th, until January)

 

Saturday December 6th:

11 am-2 pm: Celebration of Life ceremony for Vern Himes - All are welcome

 

Sunday December 7th:

5 pm:  HOLIDAY PARTY - Ring in the holidays with your neighbors!  This get-together will be appetizers or any dish that you would like to bring.  A sign up sheet is available at the community center, or you can reply to Dianne's message on the BF Community Center Facebook page.  There will also be a silent auction to raise funds for upcoming events.  If you would like to contribute an item for the silent auction (gift basket, craft, whatever you'd like - similar to the holiday raffles in past years), please bring it to the community center and leave it in the bar area.  Thank you in advance!

 

Wednesday December 10th:

2 pm:  Cribbage (last Cribbage day in 2025)

6 pm:  American Legion Post #21 Executive Committee Meeting

7 pm:  American Legion post #21 Member Meeting - All Briarwood Falls veterans are welcome to attend.

 

Saturday December 13th:

1 pm-4 pm:  Private function

 

Saturday December 20th:

1 pm: Private function

 

Calling all Crafters and Artists! - The social activities group is looking into the possibility of having a craft fair in November 2026. Crafters/Vendors would include Briarwood residents only, but the fair would be open to the public (similar to the annual yard sale).  If you are interested in being a vendor, please contact Dianne Clune.

Save these dates in 2026:

 

February 7th, 2026 (Saturday) - time TBD:  Chili Cook-off!!!  $5 admission (funds raised will go toward future events). You can make your favorite chili (optional), taste them all, and vote for your favorite - just in time for the Super Bowl!

April 25th, 2026 (Saturday):  Doo Wop Sock Hoppin' Dance!  Save the date and get ready to dance - although dancing is not required!  A DJ will be playing your favorite tunes - we'll take requests as we get closer to the date!
